Often I am asked what the use of a small SAK like a Classic, Rambler, Esquire or Swisscard is.  After all, the blade is so small it really can't be good for much, right?

What good is a small SAK like this SwissCard Quattro?

July's SAK of the Month is a fairly common choice, and a model that no collection is complete without.  The one thing I always wanted to add to my trusty old Camper was scissors- enter the Huntsman!

It's been two years now since we launched SOSAKOnline and it's been a heck of a ride.  The site has gone through a few changes over the last couple of years from an extension of the discussions at Knifeforums.com to a serious site of it's own, and it wouldn't have done that without support from everyone.

I was born in 1977 in Mar del Plata, (population 600,000) a city in Argentina, is not a small city but also not big, we have some nice beaches and nice sierras too.

I have been a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Dealer for a couple of years now and a fan of SAKs for many years. I founded a nonprofit charity corporation, Feline Veterinary Emergency Assistance Program (www.fveap.org) in 2002 and decided to use my love of SAKs as a major fundraising vehicle for FVEAP.

Tim is perhaps the finest knife dealer to be found anywhere!

Travis Autry is a native North Carolinian, born and raised near Fayetteville.  His hometown, Autryville,  is smaller than the fictional "Mayberry" from The Andy Griffith Show.  He now resides in rural Johnston County near the town of Four Oaks with his wife, son, three dogs, two cats, several firearms and a multitude of knives.

My name is Tom Meeker, many of you know me as Rotokid. I have been a collector of many things over the years such as Baseball cards, tools, knives and a few others. When my father Tim (Felinevet) became involved with selling Swiss army knives to help fund his non profit organization I began to really look at Swiss army knives from a collectors point of view.

My name is Chris (Inkster) and I am an admin here on SOSAKOnline and I often back up Def with moderation duties in the SOSAK Forum. I originally started out on Knifeforums.com and eventually I joined SOSAK.  Right around the same time Grant (Def) and I became good friends.

It’s time once again to start this year’s SOSAK Knife Of The Year program, and Travis has arranged for something very special this year!  Each year he does something really impressive, and somehow he manages to top it the next year!  I don’t know how he does it!
