Some updates for those keeping track

I just wanted to take a few moments to update folks on a couple of things that we have been running here lately.  Nothing worse than folks not being kept in the loop.

First off, I want to thank Scibeer for the YoMan that we auctioned off last week.  It raised $125 for SOSAKOnline, and congratulations to Felinevet for winning it.  It's nice to see that not all of his personal funds go to help the kitties!  It was a great item, and a great auction and a thank you goes out to everyone who participated as well.

Next up is the 2007 SOSAK Knife of the Year.  Travis has told me that they are on schedule, but that the schedule had been started late due to some unpaid orders.  I believe those have been taken care of (or at least enough of them have so that we could move ahead) and they should start appearing in folks' hands towards the end of the month or beginning of October.  We'll have regular updates on them here in the SOSAKOnline BLOG, in the SOSAK Forum at Knifeforums.com and you can also contact myself or Travis for any up to the minute info we may have.

Last but not least, I have gotten a few emails lately asking if SOSAKOnline accepts submissions for articles.  We do indeed accept submissions, and I am always happy to publish any SAK related articles you may wish to submit.  This site has always been about the members, not me showing off!  About the only restriction I have regarding articles is that you please provide them to me by the 20th of each month to allow me time to edit (if necessary), provide photos (if necessary) and upload/organize them on the site.  Send any and all submissions to This email address is being protected from spambots.
