They say every knife has a story to tell.  I'm not really sure where this one's story started, but with me it was the day I found it walking down a road.

I know I have been promising this for some time, but I finally managed to get started.  I have now added the 2008 Victorinox catalogue to the list of downloadable .PDF’s that we have available here on SOSAKOnline.

It has been some time since The Official Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Collector’s Society President Dan Jacquart published his first book in the Collector’s Guide series, A Collector’s Guide to 58mm Small Sized Pocket Knives, but I have never gotten around to reviewing it properly for SOSAK members.  Well, it’s about time I changed that.

I’ll admit it- I never actually expected September would arrive!  After seeing one of the Heritage knives last February at the SHOT Show, I have been anxiously awaiting this month, and to be honest,  I’ve been drooling over them

It’s that time of year again- the votes have been tallied and the Knife Of The Year program is well under way!  This year’s winner?  A regular favourite with members, the Waiter (also known as the Bartender in some areas) in Hunter Green!

It’s almost upon us- the Great Maine getaway, where SOSAK and Multitool.org members will gather to spend a weekend in a cabin on the shores of Lake Sebago.  I’ve published reports on both the UK Meetup and the infamous SOSAKramento, not to mention a bit from PWYP (although that wasn’t a SOSAK thing!) but I’m really looking forward to Maine.  Why?  Simple- because I’m going to this one!

For some time now I have wanted to get one of the Pock-Its sheaths as a method of carrying a few of the doodads I often carry every day, and especially at work.  I don’t have enough stuff for some of the Maxpedition bags I’ve had, but I do have a little much to put in my pockets, and too much to put on my belt without looking like Batman!

Ok 15 functions (I don't count the key ring) packed into a very 'bloated' Classic. This will not be a short review lol.

In the past few months I have asked members if they have had any information regarding a few oddities I have come across, and there have been a couple of members who have gone above and beyond to solve a few mysteries for everyone's benefit.

OK we've all seen them on Ebay, tired, beat up SAKs that have seen a hard life, some are just worn out through natural wear and tear, and some of them sadly have been abused!
