It’s that time of year again- the votes have been tallied and the Knife Of The Year program is well under way!  This year’s winner?  A regular favourite with members, the Waiter (also known as the Bartender in some areas) in Hunter Green!

It was a close battle between the Waiter and the Spartan this year, with the Executive coming in last.

A tie breaker had to be done, with the Waiter coming out in front by a landslide, and the color Hunter Green was the most popular color choice right off the line!

For those not familiar with the Waiter, it’s an 84mm model with only one layer, and the highest function/size ratio of any SAK.  It features a main blade, combo tool, lanyard ring, toothpick, tweezers and a corkscrew- but since the combo tool functions as a can opener, bottle opener, screwdriver and wire stripper, the basic Waiter’s functions are listed at 9.

The cost of this year’s knife will please members greatly, at only $26.99, plus shipping, a substantial savings over previous annual SOSAK knives, which were always budgeted at around the $40 mark.

So how do you go about getting your very own SOSAK 2008 Knife Of The Year?  Simple- fill out the form HERE and Travis will contact you with order and payment details.  Once all the member orders are in, Travis will order the knives, receive them and distribute them to members.  Paypal is the preferred method of payment, but alternate arrangements can be made with Travis once the order is placed.

Remember, these are a limited item, and they are only available through this offer.  As with all the previous SOSAK Knives Of The Year, when they are gone, they are gone, so be sure you don’t miss out!
